Stephen Fleischer

President

Before starting The Fleischer Foundation, Stephen worked as a primary school teacher in Nairobi, Kenya at the Our Lady of Nazareth elementary school. Stephen witnessed the inability for students from the Mukuru Kwa Njenga slum to attend high school and became determined to get involved. In late 2016, The Fleischer Foundation was incorporated. Stephen currently lives in Chicago, IL U.S.A.

Ethan Domsten

Director of U.S. Operations

Ethan Domsten began his work for The Fleischer Foundation late 2016. Currently, he is in his 2nd year of law school at Loyola University Chicago School of Law with a focus in Health Law. He is responsible for all of the foundation's U.S. operations including legal issues, finances, fundraising, internship supervision, and marketing.

Angela Hashisoma

Director of Student Development

Angela was born in Nairobi, Kenya and is a current student at the University of Nairobi with a specialty in international economics. She oversees a variety of the foundation's operations in Kenya including student admission, mentorship, parent home visits, and Kenyan legal affairs. Additionally, she acts as a liaison between our students and the secondary schools that they attend.

Richard Mungasia

Student Counselor

Mr. Mungasia has worked at the Our Lady of Nazareth School for the past 6 years. There, he acts as a 8th grade teacher and counselor. As a recent member of the Fleischer Foundation staff, he does similar work by speaking with our students on a one-on-one basis to provide therapy and counseling. Mr. Mungasia also provides guidance to our 12th grade sponsored students in their preparation for life after high school.

Roselyne Mideva

Academic Counselor

Madam Rose has worked at the Our Lady of Nazareth school since January 2013. She currently teaches upper class Science, Swahili, and Catholic Religious Education. After joining the Fleischer Foundation's staff in 2017, she assists with individual counseling for our students with a specific focus on academics.

Katelyn Breen

Director of Outreach

Katelyn joined the Foundation in the Spring of 2017. As the Director of Outreach, she is responsible for fundraising, social media, and general donor outreach. Her past experiences with nonprofit organizations such as the American Cancer Society make her a valuable addition to the team.
